ONE MORE THING……..REMEMBER TO BE GOOD!
Royal Walk for Charity
Royal Walk for Charity
The team at Beacon Wealth Management (along with some of our partners and family members) are doing a ‘Royal Walk’ throughout October, both in honour of Her Late Majesty Queen Elizabeth II, and to raise vital funds for our chosen Charity of the Year: Sue Ryder Hospice.
Collectively, we will be walking a total of 1015 miles. This amounts to the distance from Windsor Castle, to Buckingham Palace, to Sandringham, to Balmoral Castle, and then back to Windsor Castle – the final resting place of the Late Queen.
We are recording our efforts on a Strava group app and in the first five days (at the time of writing) have collectively logged 189.2 miles. This means that by starting at Windsor Castle, we have passed Buckingham Palace and Sandringham, and now are well on our way to Balmoral Castle!
We are dedicated to making this fundraising event as much fun as possible! Our Good-to-Great Team have been busy arranging weekly meet-ups at various walking locations, so we can all take part and keep spreading the Beacon team spirit (and enjoy a well-deserved hot drink afterwards).
Any and all donations are graciously accepted; Sue Ryder’s Moggerhanger Hospice is close to many of ours and our families’ hearts and we hope to raise as much as possible to support this worthy cause. You can follow our efforts on our social media pages or here on our website, as we will regularly update where we are on our route.
Our fundraising page is live and any donations can be made at https://www.justgiving.com/fundraising/beacon-wealth-management-4-sue-ryder
5km PaintRush for Charity
5km PaintRush – St Neots
Some of the Beacon Wealth Management staff, along with friends and family, took part in the 5km PaintRush event at Riverside park in St Neots on 26th June 2022. This was to raise money for the Sue Ryder Hospice in Moggerhanger – our chosen Charity of the Year.
They crawled through army nets, jumped over bales of hay, navigated wiggle sticks and hopped through tyre trails to complete the course. Not forgetting the paint stations along the way where they were covered in multiple colours of powdered paints.
Not only was it lots of fun but it was all for an amazing cause.
Well done to everyone that joined in.
